The profession of landscape architecture offers students the opportunity to engage in shaping the environmental and cultural landscape through planning and design to improve quality of life.
A landscape contractor is a specialty contractor who provides the materials and services needed to make the landscape architect's project become a reality; and/or to provide the management and maintenance needed to keep the project in prime condition after implementation.
The dual degree integrates Landscape Architecture with Landscape Contracting and Management. The end result: graduates with broader career opportunities as well as faster career advancement.
The Master of Landscape Architecture Program provides an opportunity for students with undergraduate degrees in landscape architecture and related disciplines to refine and develop professional strengths in three areas of emphasis: watershed planning and management; landscape planning, management and design; and community-based initiatives.
